Power Advantage 5-speed 5-Speed Hand Mixer: White by Cuisinart

It's sturdy, although a bit heavy. The beaters are nice, sort of combination old style and whisk. Wish it came with more than one type, but the sale was half price, so no complaints. Seems to work well, but a little awkward...beater release is just below the handle and a bit too easy to release while grabbing the handle. The release button is a little flimsy as well. Maybe they made it flexible so it wouldn't irritate while holding the mixer, but I find it distracting. It would have been better to position it at the top near the settings as most other beaters are designed. Definite design flaws, but OK for the discounted price.

I have been wanting a new hand mixer for some time. I have a large stand mixer. Due to a temporary disability I was not able to go shopping. Being able to find exactly what I wanted on line was a real help.

While this mixer is great for mixing small items, I would have liked a slower first speed.

One handy dandy hand mixer when hauling out the big mixer is not necessary. One of the problems with the hand mixer is the inconsistence in beater speed. You may start out slowly, but with no encouragement, the beater speed mysteriously increases until splatters are going everywhere. This hand mixer has true speeds that are consistent.

I love this mixer, the color was exactly as pictured and it fits with all the other purple in my kitchen. It was well packaged and arrived in a timely manner.

I was really happy with the quality and durability of the product. I was a little apprehensive at first, but I know the brand name usually means solid quality in my mind. It was at a great sale price, so definately worth buying.

I absolutely love this mixer. Powerful and not heavy to hold.

I love the mixer, but noticed that speed 1 was too fast and about the same speed as 2. It would have been nicer if speed 1 was slow enough to just get the mix moving instead of splattering it all over my kitchen counter! I will have to stir by hand at first before using the mixer. Other than that it was nice to handle and did the job.

This is the BEST mixer I have ever owned. I HIGHLY recommend. Very convenient and easy mixer discharge. I found this to be the highest rated, so went for it. SOOOO glad I did.

My first new blender in over a decade and it is fantastic. Very powerful yet easy to handle. Used to take me 5 minutes at high speed to get sugar and butter to that fluffy consistency, With this blender it was done at less than medium speed. Easy cleanup and gorgeous color

My husband says it sounds like an airplane engine - but it works very well.

I purchaced the mixer for my daughter. I have a 7 speed cusienart miixer myself and love it. She has been looking for a good mixer at a good price. when I saw this one I thought it would be the same as mine only a 5 speed. However the speeds are insane. The low speed is crazy fast and the highest speed is out of controll. This is my daughters complante of most mixers. The first speed is way to fast. I will continue to look at Paula's store in hopes to find the mixer I have.

GReat mixer , at first I was unsure of the thin blades , but I have found they work much better than wider ones. This is a very strong mixer, don't let the size or cute colors fool you .

I have a a large stand mixer with every possible atachment ,but was in dire need of a small hand held and this one works great plenty of diffrent speeds and power !!

I am very pleased with the product. The stronger power is especially nice.
