I thought this carving set would be a whole lot better then it was. Usually Wusthof knifes are pretty good. This set though I was extermely disappointed in. The carving knife wasn't so bad, but the fork was very cheaply made. The prongs bent the first time we used them. Wouldn't purchase again.

Meat carvvng tools

Knife and fork ordered to be used in carving the thanksgiving turkey. We have used the utensils on pork tenderloins and on oven roasts and the results were all that were expected.

The carving knife and fork were a fine addition to our "Wurstof" knife set.

Finally a knife that can carve!

I have an electric knife, but somehow I feel better when my meat/poultry is carved the traditional way. I love all my Wusthof knives and do have a dimpled, straight edge carver that just didn't do the job. I love the shape and scalloped edge of this knife and for $99 it also comes with a carving fork that looks nice enough to leave on the serving platter.
