Gourmet Carving Set (2-pc.) by Wusthof

I have an electric knife, but somehow I feel better when my meat/poultry is carved the traditional way. I love all my Wusthof knives and do have a dimpled, straight edge carver that just didn't do the job. I love the shape and scalloped edge of this knife and for $99 it also comes with a carving fork that looks nice enough to leave on the serving platter.

The carving set is great and we are now ready for the Thanksgiving turkey. This will be appreciated for years to come.

This is one of the best deals I have seen on this carving set. And with the name Wusthof on it, you KNOW the knife is good. They're a good, heavy-weight set and they got here faster than we expected. They'll make a great Christmas present!

Knife and fork ordered to be used in carving the thanksgiving turkey. We have used the utensils on pork tenderloins and on oven roasts and the results were all that were expected.

The carving knife and fork were a fine addition to our "Wurstof" knife set.

The carving knife does an excellent job carving meats (chicken & turkey breast) that tend to shred with serrated blades.

Very much a bargain. Worked nicely for turkey, but have found many other uses. Easy to handle.

It's really sharp so be careful. Great for carving really any meat.

This carving set sliced our meats really well. The serrated edge kept the knife from tearing while cutting.

Have always wanted a superior carving set and finally found one at a great price

We've had a running issue with carving our Thanksgiving turkey. My husband has complained for years that we have no good knives. I saw the special offer for this set and decided to give a try. It was a complete success and well worth the money.

We bought this for our Niece and Nephew seeing as they invite us every year for Thanksgiving dinner. I believe my nephew was more excited with the carving set than he was with the dinner. I own a complete set and love each piece. My wife loves them also.

I love everything made by Wusthof, have lots of Wusthof items. I would not have send it back, if the knife would have been not so totally the same as what I already have. It looked different on the paper.
I am old in age and cook now for only 2 people, my household has downsized as my children grew older and moving out from cooking for 6 to cooking for 2.
Maybe I will find something I will like

I bought the slicer and fork to carve this year's Thanksgiving turkey and to complete my Wusthof set. The slicer worked very nicely. Good balance, proper length, extremely sharp and proper stiffness make this slicer a joy to use. Fork works too :-)
