Yes, there are still a few select items made in America. My sister needed a 'real' whisk, so I bought her this for Christmas. It is strong and sturdy, like mine purchased years ago elsewhere. Don't settle for imported junk; this one is worth the price.
Bought this whisk after reading the Cooks Illustrated review. I thought that a 14-in whisk was just too large for general cooking needs (I usually use a hand or stand mixer for egg whites) so this one is perfect for vinaigrettes, sauces, flour, etc.
PROFESSIONAL QUALITY. This whisk will likely last me to the end of my kitchen days, then get used by next generation. Which is exactly how an American Made product should perform! Go USA!
I was surprised by the size I expected it to be a little smaller but I think it will work out just fine for sauces and the such. I do not get into pastries (diabetic) however there a whole world of others uses, I am playing with International foods, there seems to use more sauces in other lands then I am accustom to doing. It is great fun and interesting to explore and share with others looking for similar cuisine to play on the palate.
Design, size and weight are great for whisking.
