Electric Fondue Set (11-pc.) by Trudeau

Excellent multi-purpose fondue pot. Versatile and quick heating. variable heating controls are great.

I purchased this fondue set to replace a 30+ year old electic set.

My old set had separate metal and ceramic pots with handles. This new set is much more compact for storing in the kitchen.

I have always prefered an electric heating element for two reasons
1. convenience
2. control of heat

This is a great product and would make an excellent gift.

What a wonderful product! It heats up quickly and consistently keeps the contents as warm/hot as you'd like. I really liked the stoneware insert for cheese/chocolate. When we had a fondue party, I was able to have dessert ready in the insert before dinner even started. Once broth fondue for dinner was done, I cleaned out the main pot, added boiling water and inserted the stoneware! The only change I would make would be to make the cord longer.

I absolutely love my fondue set. It cooks the cheese perfectly without burning and cleanup is a breeze. My only complaint would be the power cord. Much too short!

I ordered two of these fondue pots at they both came broken. I suspect the pots had been sitting in a stock room for some time because the plastic on the feet was crumbled and broken. Because the pots came so well packed, I don't think they broke during shipment to me.

I have only great things to say about Cooking.com and their customer service in handling this problem. When the first one came broken they immediately sent me the second one rushed UPS. And when the second one came broken they emailed me UPS call tags the same day to ship them back at no charge to me. I have since re-ordered another fondue pot (another brand) from Cooking.com and am waiting on delievery.

very nice but little over price

Overall the product works very well. My only complaint would be the electrical cord is very short and can still detact a little too easily.
